## How to use

1. **Describe the server** - Name, description and the public MCP endpoint URL.
2. **List tools** - One tool name per line so agents know what they can call.
3. **Publish** - Serve it at /.well-known/mcp.json with CORS enabled.

## Why publish an MCP card?

The Model Context Protocol lets AI assistants call your product's features as tools. A small JSON card at a well-known path lets agents and directories discover your server automatically instead of relying on someone pasting a URL into a config file.

### Do I need an MCP server first?

Yes. The card only advertises an existing server. AI Launch's own is at ailaunch.dev/mcp if you want an example.

Discovery conventions are still settling; this card uses the common fields (name, description, remotes, tools) that current clients read.
